If you'll permit me a short review:

The Cassette is a wonderful short film, made in a very compressed time frame with limited budget and crew with which to make it. Shot around the local Adelaide area, the film is a somewhat open-ended adventure about a man who discovers a cassette player (kind of like a Walkman), who is then pursued by an equally mysterious woman with a weapon. While the beginning of the film is a little slow to grab you attention, given that essentially it's a man walking along, once the tension begins to mount as the woman pursues him, the film takes off! A highly competent effort, enjoyable and stylish without being too dramatic, The Cassette is must see short filmmaking!!! okay, perhaps not Must See, but definitely worth a look!
